Engineering/Mathematics: LEGO challenges #2 (2019)

In our second STEAM session of the term, students used creativity and perseverance to complete challenges.

They used LEGO to:

1. Build their name

2. Make something that starts with the letter 'B'

3. Grab a handful of LEGO and build something using every single piece

Engineering/Mathematics: LEGO challenges #1

The little engineers in our Junior School enjoyed tackling their two challenges today. They shared their ideas when co-operating in a small group. What really impressed me was that nobody got frustrated and everyone managed themselves extremely well.

1. 'Build the tallest LEGO tower you can without it falling over.' The tallest tower measured 71cm!
