We talked about what our hats are representing, like our family, mountain, river.

New Zealand author, illustrator and storyteller, Stu Duval visited our school today, sharing stories with our students and showed them how to draw cartoon characters.

The students in Rooms 4 and 5 created their maunga (mountain) for their 'wearable art hat'. They used their 'house' mountain to look at the form and created it with air-drying clay...
