and Doubles

Using the '10 Frame Fill' (on the iPad) students practice recognising additive "10 Families" 

Flip the cup. For this activity each set of students had ten cups. They take turns challenging their partners by flipping over some of the cups. Their partners would then state the combination of ten…“Seven and three make ten!”

Students used dominoes to make pairs of the number in the circle, practicing number bonds...

Grandparents' & Friends' Day

It was wonderful to welcome so many of our Grandparents and Friends to our school and class and to share some of our learning with them.

We had a morning tea which was provided and hosted by the students, a Performing Assembly, a BBQ & Shared Lunch/ picnic and ended with a Market Day.

Thank you to everybody who came along and enjoyed the day with us. We always love seeing you at our school!

Bowl Sculptures

Room 4 created bowls with Mrs Fitzgerald in our Art session. They were based on the 'hand-blown glass sculptures' by the American artist Dale Chihuly.
