The Bobcat on our Field

We were very excited to see a little Bobcat on our field and went over to have a closer look.

We talked about what is happening and found out he is making room for our new Cricket Pitch!

When we got back to class, we read the story of 'Little Bulldozer' on our SMARTboard and got to do some fun activities.

We learnt that we are never too little to help or to practice the Virtue of 'Helpfulness'

A E I O U

After our last Kapa Haka session, Room 4 and Room 1 decided to use some of our Buddy Singing time to practice our Moari pronounciation.

Our own FM Radio Station!

On Monday 7 March, some of us gathered together at around 1.00pm to hear the FM Management Team practising going live for the first time!

We listened to 107.0 FM on the radio in our class.

Brendon Weatherley from Classic Hits came to help and give some advise.

The Reporters were so cool, they even played music!

Swimming Sports day

We had a wonderful and exciting day, after spending much time preparing for our annual Swimming Sports day.

We were like fishes in the water!

We tried our best, had lots of fun and are very proud of ourselves!
Thank you to all our wonderful teachers and parents for the support you gave us.

Crazy Hair & Mufti Day

It is with sadness that we see and hear about the devastating and tragic events in Christchurch.

Two of our Year 6 girls, Renee & Abby, have approached Mr Taylor to ask if the school can contribute to the appeal through Red Cross by holding a Crazy Hair & Mufti Day!

Our school also observed 2 minutes of silence to pay tribute to the victims of Canterbury’s earthquake at 12.51pm. This was a very special and emotional moment.

We are so proud to be New Zealanders.
