In Legit this term we have been learning about balancing, running, jumping, skipping, throwing and catching.

    

Maths - Measurement

Room 4 learned to compare lengths from the same starting point. They had to use measuring language to compare length and height.

After measuring their feet, they had to tell which one is taller than and shorter than.

Thank you to the students from our buddy class who came to help them with creating an 'Explain Everything.'

 




 

 

Measuring our feet

We have been learning about measurement.

Some of the seniors from our buddy class, came to help us. They traced our feet and we cut it out. We had to put three feet next to each other and look which one is bigger or smaller than.

Cluster Summer Sports (T1, 2015)

The weather was not that good.  It was raining and we were not sure if we will still  be going to the Cluster Summer Sports.

We were looking forward to play some games with the other schools in our cluster.  It was a bit cloudy at the start, but later the sun came out.

It was a fun day! One time Leanne, Bridget and Ms van der Spuy helped us pull in the tug-of-war!

Reading on the 'Story Teller Chair'

The Wynyard family donated a beautifully crafted story teller's chair to our school.  

Today we went outside to read our books.  Some students used the chair to read their book to the class.

There were lots going on around us and it was a challenge to stay focused at times...

Golf lessons

Coach Anna has been visiting our school once a week to give us some golf lessons.  She also worked around our virtues and how we use them.

She gave us some challenges... 

and we learned how to put.

It was great fun!
