Our Buddies for Buddy Day
This year we participated in Buddy Day. We worked in teams to paint and decorate our buddies.
Our buddies had to go to Tauranga and we heard that they were helping out at a Hospital and making sure all the sick people feel better.
We enjoyed our involvement in this project and it was lovely having the buddies at our school.

The parcel...
We are always happy to receive a parcel in our class. For a number of times now, we have had really exciting visitors in our class and this time we were happy to welcome 'Follow' to our class. 'Follow' is the KidsedchatNZ mascot.
We took 'Follow' on our trip to the Ohaaki Wetlands, where he had a lot of fun with us. He also joined us during lunch times and we feed him some of our food and let him drink some of our milk. He also played on the playground and slide with us. We took good care of him and enjoyed having him with us.

Ambulance visit
What a big surprise we had today when Reporoa's St John's Ambulance arrived on our school field with sirens and flashing lights.
The meaning behind this was to donate the money raised from our recent Halloween Mufti Day to the St John's Ambulance. Afterwards, we were able to have a look inside the ambulance and Bruce told us about some of the equipment that they can use for the treatment of patients.
