This is it... our final school day for 2016

We came to the end of yet another busy year in Room 4! I would like to wish all the students moving on to Year 2 in 2017 all the best. Keep talking about and share what you are learning, as I look forward to visiting your blogs next year.

Thank you to all the parents who have been involved in their child's learning and to those who commented and engaged with us on our blogs. I enjoyed our home-school connection and all the informal 'catch-ups'.  Enjoy the holiday with your children!

Digital Citizenship / Cyber Safety #9

Using 'Follow the Digital Trail', students learned that the information they put online leaves a digital footprint. This footprint can be big or small, helpful or hurtful, depending on what they put online.

Students wrote down or drew all of the online activities they do in a week on a 'footprint'. They began to understand the importance of building a positive online profile.

Go Bananaz!

We went to the hall to listen to the story of the wise men that followed the star to the manger. We also learned what Christmas is really about.

We liked the songs
